Geo engineering and Chemtrails........?

We recently were made aware of some buzz about Geo engineering, and the possibility of contrails from airplanes actually being chemtrails? In doing research we have found discrepancies on each side of the coin.

 So that is the conundrum that is placed before us. Is it fact? Or is it fiction? Or does it lie somewhere between.  We are soliciting your comments help and input. Please provide us with links to your resources..
