Hey America want to make a difference

Man, I have really struggled with our elections and politics this last while. Ive tried to figure out how we can make a difference. The answer I've found is a scary one. Its quite simple but I'm not sure I have the guts to do it. We the People.

It would take two, four year election cycles to do it. Ok here it is... do not vote the incumbent! No matter the party, no matter just for two cycles choose the best candidate other than the incumbent. That will send a clear message that we the people are in charge, that while in office they need to focus on they issues and not the Institution. It will clear out cronyism, it will make carrier politicians review how things are done. It will take power away from lobbyists and put the power back in

Great patriots Like @marklevineshow are always telling us to do something. If we want to see immediate change, if we want to see permanent change, we have to change the way we vote. Scary? Yes, but it can't be any worse that the terror ride we've been on for the last 8 years. Yep it would take 8 more years. But it would restore the balance of power. It would make the elected officials our representatives not a political parties, or lobby groups.
I'm really no one of consequence, But By God I am an American who desires the America I grew up loving.


I know that many of my countrymen prefer to have blinders on, to not rock the boat, not to make waves. But if you haven't noticed the boat is sinking and the bilge pumps are overwhelmed.
Make a difference. Make our votes count.

Whatever side you find yourself on in this situation, you cannot help but feel love and compassion for this family. She shows grace and dignity in the face of tremendous hardship. Her points are compelling and need to be looked at seriously.

Supporting the Constitution...... not the Institution

I believe with all my heart in the Constitution of the United States. Sadly we have strayed from its simplicity and power to giving an institution that has become complex and power hungry. Our elected officials are out of balance. They have forgotten that we are a republic, not a people to be led by power greed and corruption.
They believe that they have superior intellect, and that we cannot make rational or intelligent choices, how wrong they are.
We can blame the politicians all we want. But we have to remember that we elected these men and women. We need to remember we have the power to put them there and we have the power to take them out. Whether that is on a local or national level.
Gone are the days of trust, respect, virtue, and integrity. At least is seems that way. Please remember that we are the people. We not only have the desire to return to goodness and living under the umbrella of the constitution and its ability to help us enjoy the liberty and justice for all, but also have the right and responsibility to preserve protect and defend the principles it espouses.

Dragnet.... why don't we try a net?

This is the City..... well thats what Joe Friday would say at the beginning of the old police show dragnet. As I think about where we are today with our militarized police and with all of the thugs out there that want to make a name by being shot by the police, with the national controversy surrounding things like the senseless shooting/killing/murder (you can choose your own verb) of a Utah rancher in Oregon. Why can't we arm our police with a weapon designed to subdue with our harming or putting the officers involved in harms way. We arm them with guns, tasers, chemical sprays and so on but why not arm them with the same type of net guns that wildlife rangers and officers have used for decades.

The technology is there and it has proven to be very successful. I am sure that law enforcement could tweak and perfect it for their uses. it would eliminate the doubts, to the methods, and also to the volatile outcomes that come from hard to defend situations. I am not saying lets take guns away from them but lets give them another tool that is less volatile and still protects the individual and those charged with law enforcement. It would help restore trust that has been lost. When you are at a point that you see a video and can come up with conclusions for both sides it will aways create conspiracy, doubt and inevitably more situations.

I want to believe, but it is getting harder and harder when 30 -40 armed federal and state law enforcement agents see the only way out is to kill a man that may or may not have been reaching for a gun.

So why don't we use nets in our Dragnets?

You’ve been on vacation for two weeks, you come home, and your basement is infested with raccoons. Hundreds of rabid, messy, mean raccoons have overtaken your basement. You want them gone immediately…You call the city and four different exterminators, but nobody could handle the job. There is this one guy however, who guarantees you he will get rid of them, so you hire him. You don’t care if the guy smells, you don’t care if the guy swears, you don’t care how many times he’s been married, you don’t care if he was friends with liberals, you don’t care if he has plumber’s crack…you simply want those raccoons gone! You want your problem fixed! He’s the guy. He’s the best. Period. Here’s why we want Trump: Yes he’s a bit of an ass, yes he’s an egomaniac, but we don’t care. The country is a mess because politicians have become too self-serving. The Republican Party is two-faced & gutless. Illegal aliens have been allowed to invade our nation. We want it all fixed! We don’t care that Trump is crude, we don’t care that he insults people, we don’t care that he had been friendly with Hillary, we don’t care that he has changed positions, we don’t care that he’s been married three times, we don’t care that he fights with Megan Kelly and Rosie O’Donnell, we don’t care that he doesn’t know the name of some Muslim terrorist. 

This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegal aliens and bringing tens of thousands of Muslim refugees to America, while leaving Christians behind to be persecuted. We are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo and Hasid is part of a special group with special rights, to the point where we don’t even recognize the country we were born and raised in; “AND WE JUST WANT IT FIXED” and Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want. 

We’re sick of politicians. We’re sick of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. We just want this thing fixed. Trump may not be a saint, but he isn’t beholden to lobbyist money and he doesn’t have political correctness restraining him. All we know is that he has been very successful, he’s an excellent negotiator, he has built a lot of things, and he’s also not a politician. He’s definitely not a cowardly politician. When he says he’ll fix it, we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar.

Oh yeah…I forgot…we don’t care if the guy has bad hair either. 

We just want those raccoons gone.
